Further develop your musical talents with the Discover package: best suited for students who would like to discover and further develop their skills on their instrumental or vocal lessons of choice.

Students working at the RCM/Conservatory of Canada (level 6 and above) will be enrolled in 1 hour lessons at $80/lesson.

The Discover Music Package

Further develop your musical talents with the discover package: best suited for students who would like to discover and further develop their skills on their instrumental or vocal lessons of choice. The discover package is more for students looking to further develop their skills on a more consistent basis as it runs weekly from September to June. Students can join at any time during the year and the cost will be prorated accordingly. This package is perfect for students wanting consistency in their lessons to either work towards RCM or Conservatory Canada exams or to learn just for fun.

Do I need a membership to sign up for lessons and lesson packages? What does it include?

Yes, in order to sign up for lessons and lesson packages, you are required to sign up for a yearly EAOM membership. With purchasing a membership, you will receive exclusive access to additional tips, tricks and videos outside of your lesson plan. We have two membership options: one for families with two or more children, and a single membership for adults or one child.

Membership Cost: $55 Single, $90 for Family

What is the best age to start music lessons?

It is never too early to jumpstart your children’s musical talents! We recommend starting beginner piano or violin lessons for children 5.5 – 6 years of age. Piano and violins are both great instruments to begin your young musicians on their learning journey.

How do I know the explore package is for me?

The explore package is exactly that: exploratory! If you or your child is interested in trying music lessons, the explore package is a perfect way to experience the teachers curriculum and the basis of learning your chosen instrument. The explore package includes 10 weeks of lessons, so in that time, you will get a good idea of whether or not you enjoy lessons. Most of our students start with the explore package and then graduate into the discover package.

Are your lesson packages offered in person or online?

Both! We are flexible and offer students their choice of in-studio or online.

I want to learn how to sing, but I’m not sure if I can.

For our potential vocal students, we do a voice evaluation and interview before putting them into lessons. We take our students through scales and hearing tests, then make recommendations for lessons. The voice evaluation fee is $25 and it typically takes half an hour from start to finish. The evaluation can take place in-studio or online.

Are there any performance opportunities?

Absolutely! We host two concerts in our musical year: our mid-winter concert in February and our mid-summer concert in June. This is a great opportunity for students to take what they know and share it with others. We have done a combination of live and virtual concerts.
